How to Apply

The application process is designed to be fast and collaborative.

1. Initial Discussion#

Before submitting, you can schedule a short call for Q&A and initial alignment.

2. Submit Your Proposal#

To apply fill out the Application Form.

The form consists of 9 questions relating to your application:

  1. Project name.
  2. Brief description of project (i.e. what you're building).
  3. Pitch deck or overview document (if you have one).
  4. Project goals (what you wish to achieve with the grant).
  5. High level breakdown of project milestones, timeline and funding needs for each milestone.
  6. An estimated total project cost.
  7. How much of the project funding is needed in USD.
  8. A description of your team size, experience and time commitment to the project.
  9. Any other information.

Evaluation criteria#

  • Adoption Potential: Reach, user base, and relevance of the project.
  • Team Quality: Experience, credibility, and technical capacity.
  • Value Proposition: Problem/solution clarity and ecosystem benefit.
  • Implementation Feasibility: Realistic milestones, clear technical plan.
  • Budget Justification: Alignment between requested funding and expected value.

3. First Interview#

A general review of the proposal to better understand the vision and execution plan.

4. Technical Interview#

Deep technical evaluation with a member of the Engineering team: feasibility, integration strategy, and expected workload.

5. Due Diligence & Agreement#

Once approved:

  • Legal and commercial checks
  • Verification of team details
  • Grant agreement signing

You may apply more than once. A project funded at the Explorer level can later apply for Builder or Innovator funding.
